Offshore Canyons
Fishing the New England canyons is the pinnacle of offshore pelagic fishing. The northeast canyons are anywhere from 90-120 miles offshore. Here you’ll find the warm waters from the gulf stream which bring with it a ton of life and a multitude of different species. We can expect to see bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna and bigeye tuna. We will also be able to target mahi mahi, wahoo, sharks, white and blue marlin, swordfish and a variety of various jacks. Out here we will deploy a variety of different tactics from trolling, jig and pop, live baiting and chunking. In addition to pelagic fish species we’ll also see some exotic mammals and other sea life such as whales, dolphins, whale sharks, giant rays, sea turtles, ocean sunfish, flying fish and different offshore bird species. Fishing the canyons is a truly remarkable experience. These are long range trips which require a nearly perfect weather forecast to be possible. Safety is always our number one priority! Due to the necessary weather windows needed, deposits for these trips are non-refundable. Some of these trips need to be rescheduled, which can result in multiple fishing days lost for the business. Your deposit can be transferred to any other trip offered (inshore or offshore) or put towards a reschedule date. Our goal is to take you fishing and experience this incredible fishery!
